Re: Beast and Peninsula’s contribution to the playing budget
Seems a reputable company and offers its HR and employment services for annual fees.
They would be in business if they didnt provide a good service or legal one. Its all about getting contacts in companies, a foot in the door and then follow up to see if they can sell their services. Not sure how much potential business there is in the area though. Its a bit like my company trying to sell our services in the area. There isnt a demand for them and we dont have any customers in the area. Whereas I could throw UK retailers and big company names I work with into the hat. Name dropping a few... AO, Joules, Domino’s, Trainline. Good luck to him and any money we get then great.

I hope that beast has a few lined up as that then gives him his client base. My name dropping was yes they are larger companies and there is no demand for the services my company provides in the area.

No small business would sign up to a deal they weren't happy with. The service offered suits small and medium sized outfits who have no in house HR or legal teams. The fee appears a bit steep but the acceptance of the deal is down to the individual. Not having access to advice could in some cases cost far more than the fees. Anything legal and above board that benefits the club can only be a good thing for us. |

The point about HR/legal service providers such as Peninsula tying businesses up to long term contracts with no easy break clause is a valid and important one; but it's not necessarily directly relevant to whether Wrexham FC should get involved in this. If it generates money, whilst (as with any large business) opinions are a bit mixed about Peninsula they are market leaders in this area (no question) and competitor businesses also tie up businesses in the same way. It's quite interesting the amount of ex footballers who end up in this sort of area. Good luck to Beast as well that goes without saying |

Re: Beast and Peninsula’s contribution to the playing budget
To achieve the results required for both buyer and seller it is sometimes necessary to have the security of longer term contracts. I work in contract Logistics and we have customers on 5 and even 10 year contracts with stringent penalties on both sides for early exit. So long as Wrexham FC are not associating themselves with a dishonest business model (and I do not see that) I see no issues - the finer points of contractual negotiations are nothing to do with us. There may be people who think Ifor Williams trailers are over priced but that has nothing to do with the Football club.

Re: Beast and Peninsula’s contribution to the playing budget
There’s absolutely nothing dodgy with it there’s actually quite a few companies who use similar avensure being another, think of the money being paid too this company is less than paying for a HR department within a business then when you need advice for say sacking a staff member you have them on hand to be advised legally.

Re: Beast and Peninsula’s contribution to the playing budget
Did anyone attend The Beast's event, and if so, how did it go please?
I've no connection with Peninsula, but had dealings with them for a few years, always finding them to be a very good company as customers. They are well respected amongst their competitors too. |

Re: Beast and Peninsula’s contribution to the playing budget
Mad how people comment negatively about something they know feck all about.
Peninsula are legit, used by lots of companies and even some registered charities.
