Those who want it have got to put that vision forward in a far more active way. And let’s face it, while there are hoops to jump through they aren’t insurmountable to someone with a serious vision and cash to match. Anybody sitting here thinking there’s a saviour out there if it wasn’t for those nasty Ts and Cs is almost certainly blinded by ideology.

I really don’t like criticism being backed by “why don’t you do something?” but those who really want this need to sell that to everyone else. Bryn Law’s resolutions to loosen the process didn’t get support. So as we sit here now the only conclusion you can draw is that most fans aren’t crying out for that change. It seems those that are don’t have much of a plan.
Well said. When I look around and see clubs that may not even start a season, never mind finish it across all divisions, I for one am quite happy on how our club is run. It doesn't make me a nodding dog (how offensive is that to fellow fans?) but i can see a good thing when its in front of me.
Would I like investment? Of course I would, but not at the loss of control of our hard fought for club. Those that fought so hard for us all in some cases are no longer with us, and i feel that the ones on here who make the most noise wouldn't have the nous to put up a fight in a similar situation, i may be wrong, but I never want to find out.
I think the protection put in place by the WST is logical and sound, and works in favor of the club. And it says something to me that Bryn couldn't even be bothered to turn up and present his resolution, but chose to go to Glastonbury instead.
I'm very optimistic about the upcoming season, but I'm also prepared to be let down, but I do recognise that everyone involved is doing their best to give us what we all want.

If he is still here it must surely be the longest time we’ve had a player on trial.
He’s been on trial longer than OJ Simpson.

Exactly and no player would stay on trial for so long if there was no money to sign them. Clearly a deal will have been discussed by now.

Barnum Bobb is under 24 so maybe compensation is an issue?

As Bryan Hughes doesn't seem to have any other right backs in his training sessions (or so I'm told), I reckon its probable that JBB is his main target and perhaps the club are just doing a proper research job in case there's an agent or other compo due before signing him. I really do expect him to sign in the next few days, and he sounds an exciting type of player that fits in with BH's more attacking style.
