What’s the bigger issue being pitchside or open to the elements?

Tranmere have Perspex shelters in their main stand down at the front

Both are equally big issues.

From what I've read, every avenue has been explored, and the Club DSO has said that she is happy with the situation and has people waiting to use the platform. Not everyone is a member of the WST, and also, not everyone who is disabled in any way is a member of the DSA.
Just a little update on this:

Level Playing Field asked the club to amend their press release to remove any indication that they endorsed the club's plan. The club(WST?) have since redrafted the release as requested.
Level Playing Field have also stated today that "We agree with the DSA that wheelchair users should be integrated throughout the ground and not isolated."

Will the Board address these objections and come up with with a better proposal? albeit one we can afford and not a gold-plated revamp.

The club have been aware of these objections for quite some time, and have committed to their plans regardless.

Seems to me the bottom left of the Tech End would be better.
The club has every intention of opening the Lower section of the GUS whenever possible (Depends on results and support) so it would be inclusive.
Even if it were just for the disabled fans it would be in close proximity to the MRS and the Upper GUS.

Bang on and consistent with the DSA's views all along.

It's about time people realised the DSA isn't being awkward here, or raising objections for fun.

This stuff matters, needs to be done properly and needs to be prioritised.

To do otherwise flies in the face of all that's right, decent and consistent with what a `community' club should be.

Rant paused (for now).

Just one of a number of issues causing increasing concern at the moment.
