Yes I would go with that, in fact because illness to Wright, and slight injuries to Barton & Rutherford, I would play the starting 11 from yesterday. Fingers crossed, Redmond, Hooper & Grant hit the form shown prior to yesterday.

I agree - football is a simple game - or should be - no need to complicate it with multi formations which just introduce confusion as to who is doing what / marking who - especially if different options are used in the same match.

Perhaps the five across the back (including the wing backs) will be something used more away from home ?

Our scoring record was poor last season - that should be the focus for improvement - other than scoring 4 against little Cefn Druids we scored a total of 5 other goals in the other 6 fixtures - less than a goal a game - we blanked 3 times against better opposition in Portugal, v Fleetwood and Crewe.

I have a long term thought that we are transfixed about not conceding a goal and scoring at the other end is almost an after thought of lesser importance - goals win games especially against those clubs challenging at the top of the table in the '6 pointer' games.

How on earth can you evaluate the 'intelligence' of the playing staff at Wrexham FC ?

I am happy that BH has tried different formations in pre season. How many times have the usual suspects ranted about not having a plan B ? Now we are trying it in preseason the same old voices still aren't happy (shock horror).

I'm also prepared to see what BH does when it matters.

I will be very surprised if he is still here at the end of the season.
