I think any of the teams from League 2 would be a headache for us.Orient,Tranmere,Cheltenham,Wimbledon,Luton,Grim sby,Lincoln,Macclesfield all got relegated to national league after us but are now football league teams.

Having trawled through the EFL regulations, it states that membership is 72 clubs. If Bury go and possibly Bolton go later this afternoon, division 1 would only operate with 22 clubs for this season only. Therefore if the two of them go, that to me would mean that 4 teams could be potentially promoted from the National league at the end of the forthcoming season to get the total back to 72. Promotion becoming easier by the week!

I agree too....let's not forget that we benefitted from this back in 1991,albeit for different reasons.

Will be an interesting vote
Allow the 2 spare positions to be filled by not relegating or promoting from NL.

There won't be any additional promotion places from the NL I wouldn't have thought. There's precedence for this from when the likes of Maidstone and Aldershot went out of business. The EFL will instead only relegate one or no teams to the NL, if one or both go bust.

There will be no extra spaces for NL teams unless at least 3 clubs go to the wall.

With 2 clubs going bust it means no relegation.
