Akil Wright and Grant
Both 10 or more each

No I’ve not been drinking
But I might have a glass or two of red if they achieve the above

For Akil Wright to score 10 plus goals he would have to be a regular starter.

Only time will tell but I am not sure what will pan out in the midfield area - we seem to have lots of competition for places - some players are going to be left out - so who do you start in midfield ?

Young, Summerfield and Wright last season - but now we have additional options - Barton, Redmond and maybe depending on the chosen formation other players such as Grant could possibly drop back.

Personally I am not so sure Wright will be one of the first names on the team sheet.

Wright ,for me, is now a squad player who is unlikely to get 10 goals as he is unlikely to get the sort of game time necessary to achieve such a lofty objective.

I still think it's an area we might struggle due to tactics, but I'm more optimistic with Hooper, McIntosh and Harris than Oswell, Beavon and Holroyd. Only one of them now remains to not get near the final 3rd.

Hooper can definitely get goals this season.

Hooper is relatively proven and in his prime. I have not had as high hopes for a striker for years.

Also this takes the pressure of Oswell as he won't be the main man, so I hope he can prove himself too.

I agree and I still have a feeling that a fit Oswell might also be able to contribute. For me Oswell and Grant are two retained staff who can hopefully bring much more than last term though I appreciate that I am not setting the bar very high.

If we resort to the same negative style of play then nobody can score in this team.
