High profile accounts sending out videos of the game itself will find themselves in this situation unfortunately. The clubs/national league/BT don’t want their product being given away for free to large numbers of people. Hopefully it won’t impact Bootlegger too much as his videos are mostly of the crowd, build up, aftermath etc. Great to see him back and funnier than ever! He’s getting loads of views and retweets now. Match of the Day next?

His goal clip has had nearly 100k views on his twitter.

It’s all about the clicks these days so at a guess his videos are more popular than the media teams.

With YouTube he is able to use footage for commentary and parody purposes under fair use. As long as he only used short clips of actual game play he shouldn’t have a problem.
