Honestly can't see how BT or the the league can do anything that would impact the club based on Bootleggers (or anyone elses) videos so assuming that's the case, just let him get on with his videos and enjoy the extra interest it generates - if they try and bring down the videos via copyright claims it'll be annoying but nothing to do with the club so no need to get involved at all.

Like the videos or not, it's great exposure for the club, I've seen quite a few people say they'll take a Wrexham game in now after seeing his videos.

It wouldn't be a good move to make it official because what makes him appealing, isn't really what you'd get through a media team.

The club makes money out of You tube highlights. If people watch highlights elsewhere the club makes less money and somebody else benefits instead.

And people want the club to endorse this practice. "Please watch this , we don't mind making less money it's alright by us".

Regardless of who is doing it, competition for on line income cannot help the club.

Any idea how much the club earns from these highlights? If Bootlegger is taking away a significant source of income, it seems totally bizarre that Spencer was tweeting positively about him. In general, I thinks lot of people massively overestimate Youtube’s earning potential unless you’re an absolutely huge account.
