I like the tunnel cam thingy as they can be quite amusing.

youtube videos can be big big money if done right. so could be something of a collaberation for the club

as for the TV rights.. yes the TV companies etc and League suck. but they pay millions for their rights to own footage so cant really blame em.. as for all of us in our lives every penny counts.

Is it really friendly advice ?
What will happen when he continues to cover match clips including goals like the one he recorded and broadcast on Saturday ?
What about anyone else that has carried out the same activity in the past and might also wish to take recordings and upload them onto youtube or similar ?
Should not everyone have to abide by the same set of rules or should Bootlegger be treated differently ?

I say this for consideration - I know of young persons who previously uploaded comprehensive match highlights / clips - there were several going back a season or two who don't do it anymore - they were not contacted by BT / television companies / The National League but our own club.

Perhaps representatives of the club previously felt they needed to enforce the ground regulations (no recording) or act on behalf of the league / tv company.

Personally I am a massive fan of Bootlegger and what he has done in recent years - his video's are popular because they give a fans eye view of the game and numerous opinions - but I for one will be watching with high interest as if Bootlegger does get back into the swing of what he used to produce it is surely being permitted with the support and backing of the club - so others should be allowed to do the same without fear of being warned or being closed down - somehow I don't think Bootlegger will be producing the same type of detailed match coverage as he did in the past - do you ?

Perhaps I should have put friendly advice in quote marks to make the tone of my post clearer. To my mind footage of this nature should not belong to the league, TV companies or the club, particularly at our level where the money on offer is just about sufficient to compensate the inconvenience cause by date and/or kick off time changes. That's not to mention the sometimes patronising attitude TV companies adopt, where they expect to be able to gain access to the changing rooms and interview managers while the game's ongoing.

I did a quick Twitter search over the weekend for 'Wrexham' and came across several football fans of other clubs who've adopted us as a second team because of how much they enjoy Bootlegger's videos. A far better advert than any short highlights show or the odd televised game.

Recording games is a big thing now especially on social media where someone always uploads their view of the goal which is posted and shared though different social media outlets.

As for bootlegger he’s massively popular on twitter regularly popping up on the memes
