Just got back as working nearby at the moment

Very frustrated that we didn’t see it out, but I thought as an offensive unit we were much much better than last year. Grant is a different player, Harris has real pace and JJ is a monster. Also a special word for Luke Young who I thought was outstanding.

Early days but I do wonder that if Chambers is any good he will be in for Lawlor sooner rather than later.

Not much to fault team wise other than 2 lapses in concentration

We played very well tonight and four points from the first two games is good .

It was disappointing to concede twice in the last 10 minutes but they did create a lot of chances and perhaps they should have scored earlier . The football was great to watch and if a team attacks they will always give the opposition chances . So if we want attacking football we can’t expect to be solid at the back . Hopefully as the team begins to gel we will become more experienced at managing a game out .

Grant was the best player on the pitch . His touch , vision and quick feet are a level above the rest . He is our best player by far and we need to keep
him . If there were any scouts from L1 or L2 at tonight’s game , it wouldn’t surprise me if a bid from a league club was made for him before the transfer window closed.

In summary , great football to watch and loads of positives to look forward to for the rest of the season

Yup gutted, just like everyone. Still , no comparison , in my view , with dross we had to watch last season. Some really good creative attacking play, exciting to watch - much better squad and some classy new players in hooper, harris and a reinvented grant. 2pts dropped but hopefully we learn from this

I still remember throwing away a 2-0 lead at home to Bromley last season. People said it was still early days but them 2 points cost us third place.

We really are a team that needs a good start because we are rubbish under pressure at the end of the season.

Except it’s not based on all the evidence of the offensive threat we hold. Hughes needs to get the right balance and he’s learning on the job. We can be a force this season and look to have a very good team.

Also a big shout out to the near 400 Reds who made the trip. Players must love signing for Wrexham from other tinpot clubs when they see those numbers.

Got to win at 2 up with 15 to go. Not acceptable.

Need to remember that we are unbeaten this season and not every game is going to go our way. The team needs to keep its chin up and go again as going forward we look really good. Both goals were down to doubling up by Borehamwood against the right back position, need to strengthen here. Jennings was brilliant for the second goal and Grant had a good second half. JJ worked hard but got a bit lost out on the left wing and got no protection from the ref all night despite the lump of lard marking him going through the back of him constantly. Redmond was impressive, great work for the first goal. Time wasting tactics with 14 mins to go (last 10 of the 90 plus 4 added) was shocking and didn’t work, some players were puffing and both BH and Bobby Grant were telling the others to suck it up and play up (in reality BH should have made his full allocation of subs, time taken plus takes sting out of game plus fresh legs). Worst bit of the night was having the rubbish home support taunting those hundreds of reds who’d made the long journey on a Tuesday night in the pouring rain to support and who’d not only outnumbered the embarrassing home support 2/1 but had out sung them dramatically through the game. Onwards and upwards, still unbeaten - let’s keep that stat going for as long as we can and if we do we’ll be right up there! COYR!!
