Lyndsay being tagged as part of a clique. He's a lone wolf. His own opinion shared by some and dismissed by others.
Pearson gone from demi god to Devil incarnate in the space of 2 games.
Grant rightly criticised for stupidity but the anti Grant brigade didn't need any persuasion. As part of a front three he's done well overall and scored 2 in the bargain.
The same posters yelling for Chambers to bolster the defence complaining that it didn't work.
The board have no football knowledge?? I think after 7 years they will have accumulated more football knowledge than 99% of the posters on here. They may make decisions that some don't like but that's part and parcel of the job, just like it's been for the club throughout it's life.
Most other football club owners have little or no football knowledge, they make appointments and trust the pros.
To those who are giving up after 3 games, I feel sorry for you but I'm sure that when this team starts winning you will not be posting anyway.
Brilliant post! Some idiotic fans on here. The same praising the team after Barrow. Give it a rest.

Just seen the video. There is clear intent, so the ref was correct and Grant was stupid to over react to the keeper’s push to get him out of the way.

I am sure the players’ made their feelings clear after the game. Grant will face a 3 game ban, probably a fine, and having to regain his starting place.

We move on, and hope he doesn’t have another rush of blood to his head.

Grant's sending off can't be for violent conduct surely? It may well be a red card but to me that's a yellow. Stupid from him and he has been playing well too which is a shame. Hopefully the club appeal and its upheld as a 3 match ban for that would be just crazy.

it seems that they might be appealing

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49313118

"I spoke with the referee and he feels it was violent conduct," boss Bryan Hughes said.

"But looking at the clip it looks more like a trip than a violent conduct kick."

Hughes added: "The referee has said he will have a look at it, which I appreciate and we'll take it from there.

"It looks like the goalkeeper has just caught him with an elbow as he's getting away and Bobby's reacted with a little petulant one really. He lost his rag.

"I don't think it would be classed as violent conduct if it was anywhere else on the pitch. If it happens anywhere else on the pitch it would be a yellow card."

Absolutely violent conduct kicking or attempting to is a straight red. I agree this was petulant but the laws are clear. Off he goes.

Compare this to the famous David Beckham trip on Simeone. Not "violent" but falls under violent conduct and is a red card.

No dispute.
