Champions don't drop points easily. Ok, we had ten men but we still have to make it hard for the opposition. I only recall Tranmere recently where we have done that. Yet, I am sure we have lost plenty as ten men with hardly any fight. I just don't think we are mentally strong enough |

Re: Dover (A) reaction thread
FFS, won the first home game, got a point out of two of the most difficult away games, granted at 2-0 up we should have won and we also should have won today but that might and should have been a lesson to both the team and management. Would rather learn the lessons now and not crash and burn around New Year like we usually do.

Re: Dover (A) reaction thread
It is over re-action after 3 games...
Are we missing our goalkeeping coach from last season? For me Dibble is not at the same level as Lainton sticks on the line is to static. Another reason for the poor start could be because Hughes spent most of pre-season experimenting wish formations and kept changing the team around. Give the players time to settle I also think we lack a good dm like Walker. When down to 10 men... He got sent off last season I did not read any slagging him off. By the way Pearson is off the mark he scored their second. Posted via mobile theme |

Re: Dover (A) reaction thread
Fine margins. Desperately unlucky to only have a point against boreham wood, where we actually played some good football and if it wasn’t for grants stupid actions we would have 3 points today. Everybody would then be thinking it’s our year.
Two frustrating results does not define a season and those calling for Hughes head already should be locked up in a mental asylum. I think BH has made some decent signings and we look all he better for it. We’ll be there or there about a come end of the season. Like I said fine margins. |

Don't get me wrong I'm not happy with the results but give the team at least 10 games, Halifax always make a good start and usually end up just avoiding relegation It's not changed this league all teams are capable of beating eachother.. From a personal opinion I said it last season we went for the cheap as chips choice of manager an ex player to keep the fans off their back. Posted via mobile theme |
