Lack of leadership is definitely going to cost us this season.

No coincidence our best years we had players like Keates/Creighton in the fold.

No real surprise, it's becoming a familiar story. Teams know we are poor at defending a winning position.

How do you define that Pearson is not mentally weak? Just cos he shouts alot does not mean he is mentally strong!

We have thrown away 5 points in the last 2 games. Grant needs fining and BH a kick in the arse. Same old s....t. Thank God I stopped paying money to WST.

I am assuming, he’s naturally a leader and the only one who comes across as one and last season dragged us through 1-0 wins.

The "doom and gloom" mongers are always the same. Never happy unless they're moaning!! Yes disappointing but no need to commit suicide yet lads!

Pearson is part of the problem of sitting back too deep and last ditch tackles, it's what his game is all about.

He and Lawlor will naturally sit back as they’re both slow.

Not getting to the ground on time sums it up for me. I see the media team managed to get there on time....

Last week there were posts on here about the poor corporate offerings in the 1864. It’s not something that we’ve started doing overnight. There is too much of this going on.

Everyone goes on about all these tinpot clubs with money invested moving in the league. We are the tinpot club.

Ruthers on at 53 mins? Why
Chambers for Harris makes us more defensive with 10 but not that bad.
Ineffective Oswell again with McIntosh on bench.

Grant is a liability and not that good anyway.

Were just seeing all previous shite once again.

Birdy 10th August 2019 16.47:12

Re: Dover (A) reaction thread

I still think there is hope yet since we look more attacking we just need to get that balance right between defence and attack. Also the game management needs to improve. Will wait till the 10 match marker before I go off on one on here.

Re: Dover (A) reaction thread

This has to be the last season where this club is allowed to fail and nothing happens. We have enough up top to do something, but we have the most bizzare choice in manager that will probably cost us again.

I'm hopeful we'll see a person who wants the club, who wants to pump money into it taking us over as soon as possible. I know who it is and I think he'd be fantastic.

Our squad is better than last season but is Hughes a manager?

Disappointing result, caused by Grants stupidity.
I will admit I am getting fed up of this same old routine every season.

We are missing someone like Waller. As we missed him at the end of last season.
We seem to have a number of injuries in the squad.Did we sign unfit playrrs? Or have we changed the training?

I've said this ever since he's been here.

In possession teams let him have the ball, he then either goes on a mazy run and gets caught or he hoofs it into touch.

Out of possession we have to sit on our 18 yard box because he's lost any pace he had.

Re: Dover (A) reaction thread

Really isn’t good enough. We must concede more 90th minute goals than anyone else and we never score them!

Should have have 7 from 9 but we can’t keep throwing away leads. Need to realise clean sheets got us to play offs last year and we need to get back to them.
