Back to the Racecourse after 2 very frustrating, long-distance games.

We have seen glimpses of new found hope but marred by sloppy defending and stupid decision making.

Halifax have surprised most with their great start but it’s very early days to be proclaiming the season is either over or won.

Personally, I still think our midfield isn’t working as it should for 90 minutes, and this is where we must improve most.

They’re full of confidence and our squad is weak and defensively look all over the shop at set pieces. 1-0 Halifax with Dibble being flat footed and watching the ball go past him for number 6 without moving.

After s###ing the bed in the last 2 games we will revert to type, ultra defensive and play out a 0-0 draw.
4.5 k attendance + whatever Halifax bring.

2 nil win and more positivity around than is currently

Would be good to see Barton or Akil playing just in front of the back four
We don’t seem as solid at the back with the new set up

They are essentially a mid-table side who have just happened to win their first 3.

We’ve got to win it.
