They have recruited to their strengths. 2 powerful forwards who are supplied by midfielders who get the ball in.

For me we have 2 forwards in the 433 but still lack 1.
The 3 in the middle need a midfield general.

So I think we need a bit better. I thought McIntosh was going to be the 1 missing up front but maybe his lack of playing time has been a factor.
Lets see in next 2 games.

Tbf the front 3 of Grant , Hooper and Harris was looking good.

Too much is made by supporters about in game changes / subs etc which makes managers messiahs or idiots. For me, the game itself is probably the biggest aspect of a manager’s job he has least control of. It’s the prep before which stands you in good stead.

Lady Luck plays a massive role in all forms of life. Let’s hope she has bought an ST this season!

Haha it's a bit calmer on here last night and today, the nurse had been out with the medication I think, "Saturday was like One flew over the cuckoos nest" incredible the froth was the worst I've ever seen, I was expecting to see Grant hanging from the floodlights.. A game later we are 3 off top, granted excuse the pun it might be 6 Sunday with our away form, that plus Notts C had a good away win last night.

Even Grant or last season was better than McIntosh.
