Its a term filtered in from American Sports. In particular American football, where Game Management relates to you use of the clock. When you use your timeouts etc.

In relation to football. It's more to do with when you use your subs, change you formation. How you use possession late in the game if you winning, losing or drawing.

I wouldn’t quite call it humour..... but I would call it intriguing... and certainly less offensive than some posts on here 😊

Both as a player and then a coach I found this concept of 'game management' distasteful and unsportsmanlike.
Now after all these years in the National League I don't give a flying fcuk and would insist we spent time during training to perfect this art of 'cheating' and use it any, and every, time the opportunity demands it.
