let them have it. It might be all they've got ?
No one "trashed" him. Many just thought it was a poor signing which was made worse by the club pre announcing that a number 9 was signing which hyped it up and raised peoples expectations.

It is allowed for fans to not rate a player who signs you know.

This is classic as Junior Shabadoo said in the post I quoted earlier, a culture of needing to defend everything the club does which I find totally bizarre and something that personally,I only expect of kids on the playground.

I’d be amazed if it was even 25% of his remaining 10 months being paid, never mind 50-60%.

Seem to remember in Ben Smith’s excellent ‘Journeyman’ book that it was quite standard practice to be offered less than 10% if the transfer window was still open.

When you consider that for someone in Fondop’s position, a year out of the squad could potentially be the end of his already short-lived career in football, a few grand and a new club could be a wise move.

Well he was at the game on Tuesday, his case against Macc was sorted yesterday and his last two ‘Likes’ on Twitter have been for Spencer Harris and Luke Summerfield. All the ingredients for a good rumour are there, but if it happened, where would he play?

He'd be competition for Redmond, Harris and Grant wouldn't he?

He’d be battling for either Redmond’s position or Grant’s.
A player like Tollitt or Rodney would be more useful to us.

I guess so, but I’d have thought that we’d perhaps look for someone with a bit of pace if we were going to get someone to cover Grant and Harris. Still a good player to have, especially as McIntosh doesn’t look cut out for this league on Tuesday’s showing.
