Am I the only one who rates Summerfield. I really don't get the hate for him. He was one of if not our best player last season before he got injured. Him and Young work well together. I'm not denying we could do with a Lee Fowler type but getting a player with that talent is rare down here.

Walker or Barton I think we start to set up a bit too defensive.
At least this season if we concede 1 we’ve got the players to go up the other end and score 2.

I agree it’s handy to have away from home at the likes of Solihull or Fylde, but I’d rather be on the front foot most games and more attacking

I'm with you on this what I would call shite is Akil Wright, but football is about opinions, the problem Summerfield does have for me is he has his moments of poor passing and it is tends to be noticed more than his good stuff, I thought Tues he had a good first half a bad patch giving the ball away when they were coming into the game midway second half and when down to 10 he picked up again, his set pieces need working on.

Something we need to do both ends defending them is a weakness of ours.

I think you've forgotten that Summerfield didn't play after New Year but we were still top going into the Orient game in March.

Walker got injured and we collapsed like a pack of cards.One quality player in midfield can make all the difference (Mike Lake, Scott Green in our very rare promotion seasons)
