We stole a point today against a decent and improving Notts County side.

Rose totally bossed the midfield for long periods. Notts were first to the loose balls in midfield and this is what hurt us.

We really missed a CDM in there as Young and Summers were outmuscled by physically much bigger players. Akil made a difference when he was brought on.

Chambers was solid and composed. Jazzi made our goal but defensively was up against LM Booty and another winger who were quality to be fair.

Ruthers had a decent game, and worthy of his starting place ahead of Macintosh.

A superb finish from Redmond, and his best game in a red shirt. Much more to come from him and the goal clearly gave him a boost.

Jenno was my MOTM putting in a real shift with some great play going forward and solid in defence.

Thought we were tactically woeful today. They were outnumbering us 4 on 2 consistently in midfield and we didn't change shape to stop it once. Very very lucky to have anything from that game, by far the worst performance of the season.

Couple of points from today....

I think Dibble was carrying an injury for a good chunk of the game. Think he hurt himself when taking a free kick falling over and doing something to his right leg. The third choice keeper was warming up when Dibble made a save second half and he did look like he was struggling.

Sumerfields distribution from corners and free kicks is woeful. For all his good points his distrbution isn't great and too many times in the game he was easily knocked off the ball.

Our midfield was very poor today. Not sure who Notts Countys No 4 was but he was miles better than anything we had.

Jennings had a very good game today IMHO

When we got the ball on the ground we looked better but just played way to many long balls. TBH i think we came with the intention of getting a point today.

Rutherfords final ball - Does all the hard work and then just wastes it.

Great away support today.

All in all i thought we were lucky to get a point. We were overrun in midfield and scored with our only shot on target. If County finished better we would have let in 3 or 4. Hughes needs to have a good look at the side after this and go into the loan market as theres position that need strengthening and i don't think Dibble is match fit.
