Yes they did! The lights would need to be upgraded for Internationals as they require a similar standard to those in the Premier division. They would need to be improved by 15 to 20%

Give the away fan the GUS and we have 6,300 available less some for separation.
We could easily be close to capacity for home support and have 1500 empty seats and a poor atmosphere.
The club have done the right thing.

Straight forward decision and the correct one

Too true. Imagine giving up the GUS cos we don’t want to turn away county supporters only to sell out the home allocation and send our own supporters home. What an own goal that would be.

6600 tickets surely?

And it’s unlikely we will sell 6000+ to home supporters. We’re inviting trouble! If Stockport are to go in the Yale stand, surely the sensible decision is to make the game all ticket to avoid Stockport ‘lads’ turning up, buying a home end ticket online and wandering into the Eric Roberts stand.

Maybe because to make money from the trophy you need to get to the final and probably win it to make it a good source of income.

As for the Scottish biscuit dunking cup, we have seen threads where the prize money is not really worth turning up.

But I also don't believe we should be giving up the Town end for the likes of Stockport, Tranmere etc...

Once we get 4 sides back (I know, if ever!) then we can worry about fitting them in ...

I don’t understand what you’re getting at here. You say make it all ticket to avoid Stockport fans buying tickets online.

Anyway, regardless of all this you simply don’t give up your home end to the away fans regardless of how much extra cash it will bring in.

3 points is worth more than any extra cash we could generate.

What I’ve written isn’t very clear. There’s nothing to stop county fans buying online anyway beforehand. What I was getting at was them turning up on the day and buying tickets.
