You might call them tinpot but the so called real clubs like Notts County, Chesterfield, Stockport, Wrexham etc are also in a tinpot league.

Its fascinating listening to the press about the Bury situation, they're talking like its a brand new phenomenon. It was the topic on Your Call on 5Live this morning. The sad fact is the Bury situation is nothing new and nothing will change. More clubs will go under soon (Bolton obviously but Macc, Oldham etc) and tiny clubs who have attendances of sub 1k will get promoted as businessmen’s playthings. The FA do not care.

Interesting point that, they aren't actually in danger of going bust today they are in danger of being expelled from the EFL. They could still apply to join a lower league if that happened.

The Bury owner has been on Talksport again this morning and has now asked for pledges from fans or anyone to raise 1.7 million. Last week he said he had the money and then today with hours to go before they are due to be expelled he's asking for this. The man is a full on totally bonkers lunatic.
