The above is all farce before anyone jumps on me! It has been coming though, there’ll not be many clubs left if nothing is done about staying within your means.
Oh if it only was so simple, football from Division one down is on its way out I can see these leagues in the future going part time our league included.

Sky/BT etc have killed football below the Premier league, like most things today greed at the top is killing those at the bottom, the contracts of players are getting to high, plus a lot of kids today have interests away from football a lot of the remaining ones just watch whoever is being successful at the time in the Premier league, their dad's buy them a shirt and they are then tv fans.

When I was young like many on here their was very little football on TV and then unless the FA Cup final it was only highlights.

So to watch football you supported your local team a lot of that has gone now.

I would say the biggest majority of Wrexham fans are middle aged and older.

I note that the company expected to take over Bury today have pulled out at the last minute. No surprise that Alister Campbells son was one of its directors. Bury fans now seeking to start from scratch.

Saturdays attendance was just over 4 and a half it's not rising that much only for the big sides visiting in the 60s/70s and before we were getting an average of 10-15 thousand and other lower league clubs to my post was not solely about us it was fans watching lower level clubs in general even Chester.

My point was how greed at the top the Premier league and far far to much live football on TV has hit the clubs lower down and kids become premier league fans before going to and supporting their regional league clubs.

Dead and Bury'd. Bloody shame but it's been coming for 2 years due to loans taken out that couldn't be paid back.

What were their fans doing up until now? Too busy celebrating promotion last season probably.

Just been reading this » Fan’s View 2017/18 (No.12) Bury away

did the fans own shares?

Sept 2017: "This may well all be above board but if I were a Bury fan I’d be worried. It could all come crashing down”."
