Default Ashley Williams

Ashley Williams - hasn't a club, Welsh, experienced, would be a great acquisition for us, money permitting. Perhaps offer him a player / backroom staff position leading to his coaching qualifications. What do you think?

Good call just suspect the words "money permitting" are the key words here

No criticism of the OP but its threads like this that make me realise why so many are irrationally dissatisfied with our players, managers and results. People genuinely believe we can and should be signing players like Ashley William's,

Yeah, wouldn't happen. Despite being past his prime, Williams is League One material on his worst day.

It'd be a hell of a coup, but not one that is within the realm of possibility. If BH wants to prove me wrong though, I wouldn't be upset...

I think the OP was talking on the assumption that if Williams was looking for a gateway into some form of managing/coaching career.

It would be nice though if a millionaire footballer with a bit of morality about him decided to give something tangible back to the game at a grass roots level, but all they ever seem to do is chase the pay check for as long as they can.
