An interesting possibility.

I suppose there is not sufficient detail in the OP message to consider any further - for instance were sinks(s) and toilets(s) deliberately blocked separately as an act of malice to specifically generate flooding ? in addition to causing a mess.

Would such a person go to the match as an isolated loner or go in a group of friends ?

I’m no expert but my partners adult son has autism, learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. As such he has 24 / 7 care and he would t attempt such a thing. It would be likely if the person was autistic and likely to display this behaviour that they would be supervised.

I’m sorry but I think it’s much more likely to be someone who is just moronic and does it as a laugh. There has to be someone who saw it. Not what you expect in a civilised society. Behaviour which isn’t welcome anywhere.

Not that reasons are needed - drunk / drugged up - someone with a hatred of the club or something connected to it. Last time we had something similar was perhaps Tranmere away when the bogs were smashed up and it backfired massively on our own fans with bog capacity reduced 50 per cent and lots missing the start of the second half.

At the end of yesterdays match there was some incident in the stand - stewards running across to the block of seats Yale side of centre - whatever went on as the teams were leaving the pitch quickly ended - but presumably continued on stadium exit as a large number of security staff were forming a wall and ushering a number of fans out one of which who was doing a lot of shouting with reference to persistent standing.

Going back to the toilets - unless it has happened whilst the match was being played there must be people who saw or know something - there's always someone trying to use the facilities in a stand containing that amount of people - one of the frequent user groups are small children being accompanied by their parents which makes it even more intolerable.

This hopefully is a one off but if it's an individual with a club grudge it could well happen again - someone's head needs closely examining.
That persistent standing argument was ridiculous. Young lads didn’t like being told to (rightly) sit down

I was in front of one lad. Not young lad. Who git told to move from that aisle at the back of the gus. After giving the steward a mouthful and being told to sit or be taken out he soent the rest of the first half shouting to the stewards that he was now in a seat.

Persistant standing in some parts of the Tech End seems to be accepted as the normal BUT in fairness is pretty self regulated - those that want to usually assemble towards the back of the stand whilst the rest of us sit down in our seats nearer the front - how or if the club choose to respond to this is debatable.

However those that stand on the stairways blocking the aisles or vomitories and obstructing other supporters free movement / emergency access are not playing fair ball. We had it one game last season where several aled up individuals came in late after the 3,00 pm KO and as there were no more seats available in the area they wanted to be in - though it OK to sit and block the stairs - stewards attempt to intervene is met by abuse which then escalates to security being called for - the vast majority of us seem to be able to watch game after game and behave in a responsible manner to both our fellow supporters and our stewards - but sadly now and again the odd one or two let the clubs good name down and seem on spoiling it for the rest of us.

I was quite surprised by the high number of SIA staff at yesterday's game - they cost the club money but unfortunately the idiots in our midst are giving them more ammunition to keep coming back in high numbers and expense for the next match - money that could be spent more constructively if only they ever realised.

You are but it cant be pointing at the actual toilet or urinals so in an individual toilet would be hard to fit.
