Strangely and I know this seems weird - but the small clubs make you feel welcome and wanted and you don't feel ripped off at every step.
Nomads yesterday - 6 ball boys strategically placed around the pitch sitting in plastic seats - ball leaves play and game starts immediately as nearest ball boy hands player his ball and then goes off to retrieve the one kicked off the pitch - dead simple and it works - contrast the dross we have at the Racecourse - ball goes on the kop and we have to find a new hobby whilst waiting for some kid to chase the ball up and down the steps for half an hour.
Food at Nomads makes you realise what is being served in the Tech End - substandard overpriced shite - I might have a season ticket (for now) but I don't buy any food or drink there.
Oh yes nearly forgot - Kev the 50 / 50 ticket seller has been 'got rid of' and not replaced - another masterstroke to reward loyalty - same as the club photographer. God knows who wins the 50 / 50 draw or raffle because the Tech End peasants don't see any sellers. It's all going a bit sour behind the scenes isn't it ?
