So are they just deliberately making comical decisions then??

How much are these professionals going to cost us then? Are you going to give them free food?

I said at the time it was daft to not replace Horne and Bircham and increase each person's workload. They decided differently of course.

Pointless crying about it now, that move was nothing more than a power grab, one they haven't looked to rectify by adding more board members.

So, Now we're looking for a player with a brain, A successful manager and an ex Director(who probably knows nothing about football).

Man U have Sir Alex and Bobby Charlton but the football decisions are made by Woodward.

No, we are looking for possible ex players, ex managers and directors with previous experience of being on s football club board. I can't see what the issue is. Yes, some directors have no real knowledge of football but I bet that a lot do depending on their time in the game

Using Man U as an example is a bit different too. They are privately owned, of course the owner is going to want to have the say. I thought our club was more of a group that makes the decisions, or is it just Spencer or John?

I like your posts usually QR but you just seem determined to discount the possibility that we can or should have more footballing knowledge on the board.
Surely the current board would welcome that extra experience, take the pressure off them a bit?

And yet despite almost eight years experience they are still making the baffling decisions we are seeing.
And less experienced boards, going by your assumption, are making ones like appointing Justin Edinburgh, or Tim flowers.....

Seems a bit like a weird version of Wizard of Oz.
We need someone with a football brain, courage, a heart and a ticket home.
That seems to cover most positions.
Who is covering the Wicked witch and I despair for Glinda.

The Manure comparison like others doesn’t allow for difference of money and size. Woodward with plenty of advisors to allow more reasoned decisions.
Yes I know your tongue in cheek

And I am sure most Utd fans will celebrate the day Woodward leaves the club.
