And that's people's prerogative but that's presumably the only way to get change. Whether you're right or wrong the people who you're complaining about probably don't care about your opinion so the only way to make them listen (lawfully!) is by grappling with the "boring shit" of the trust rules.

It’s that back to school anxiety for next week that’s pushing him 😉

The fans, year on year turn up in droves home and away and put hundreds if not thousands of pounds each into the club. Yes there might be moans when we lose but the support does not really waver and after 12 years of non league carp is simply phenomenal. We buy shirts and other assorted items with a Wrexham badge on, we self fundraise for projects such as the Disabled platform, we turn up to Portugal in our hundreds, we buy sponsorship packages on top of our season tickets. Need I go on?

The owners (the fans) are keeping the club alive through sheer determination.
The owners are saving the club. The ownership model is destroying it. The closed shop mentality on the top table is strangling the club of new ideas, of entrepreneurial thinking, of large injections of cash. It is keeping under performing personnel comfortable, away from the threat of election.

It is not the fans holding us back from getting a Director of Football it is the ego of the un-democratic board and your snipes should be aimed at them not at the fans.

Best post I've read on RP in a long long time Haruki you pretty well nail it.

Except there's no managing here, it's just been a decline, without change, it'll continue.

I don’t for a minute thing Spencer is incompetent, however I am 100% sure we could have someone better qualified.

Relying on managers to set the macro football policy is stupid. They come and go we need a structure through the club from kids up to deliver success on the pitch. They are doing a great job in all other areas but are unquestionably failing in this area. Time to try a different approach.
