Yes, once the WST board had announced Moss and Dickens cared for the club and had their full support it seemed to get them a lot of goodwill. I wonder if there's a lesson to be learned there? Perhaps it IS possible for people on the board to make mistakes, and those scrutinising them shouldn't be met with quite such hostility?

Scrutiny is fine but personal attacks and accusations of corruption etc have been levelled at them.

Which are totally out of order, agreed. However I think there are a lot of people who don’t want to see ANY scrutiny of the board, which is why I have an issue with the near-constant calls from some of “Do it yourself if you disagree with them.”

Why would you put yourself forward if you could do though? Clearly the calibre of people who are willing to step in is lacking.

Don’t know. Not my job. Other clubs, some with smaller budgets than us, seem to get it right when we can’t.
