Everybody going for Lainton. People were in support of Dibble originally but interesting to see everybody agreeing now that he hasnt done enough to keep his spot.

Lainton playing will make a big difference to our defensive record.

I think he would, but is Hughes man enough to drop Dibble who he acknowledged was not at fault for all the goals conceded?

I hope to god Jennings is fit so Carrington can play RB and drop Barnum-Bobb.

If Chambers is fit its a no brainer to replace Lawlor otherwise we only have Barton who can play there.

As for midfield, he simply has to recall at least Young and probably Summerfield to play alongside Redmond. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Wright play instead of Redmond. If Chambers is fit I would rather see a midfield 3 of Barton, Young and Redmond.

Is Hooper out injured, its all quiet on that front. If not, a front 3 of Harris, Hooper and Grant is the obvious choice. Tollitt and Oswell are other contenders. But please, not Macintosh.

It appears that County sold out their ticket allocation as early as last week:-

Its no use making 6 changes to the team to play Hartlepool then changing it all over again.

Pre season was wasted pissing about with alien formations that seem now a distant memory.

Discover your best starting eleven - and only slightly tweak because of injury and or suspension.

Not having a reserve team giving side lined players a regular run out wont be helping.

Strange our signing from Airdrie has not got into a squad for Stockport,
