The one issue of concern may be his kicking ability if he has been out so long with an ankle injury but he seemed to be OK in the pre match warm up before the Barnet game. I would persevere with Dibble - he has generally done a good job with the exception of his positioning for the Notts County goal. |

Re: Team for Stockport Game
Seems a move back to basics and limited changes where possible IMO.
GK - who knows with Lainton but Dibble seems obvious. Basic back 4 with Chambers in for red card man Summers, Young and then 1 from Barton, Redmond, Wright. Oswell replaces injured Hooper? Or not as case maybe. Harris/Tollit and then Undroppable Grant. Perm the bench and then hold onto your hats for the ride.

Re: Team for Stockport Game
When looking at the Lainton/Dibble situation you cant just simply refer to the goals. Its a bigger picture than that.
For anybody who has played football at whatever level, you know yourself having someone behind you who knows what they are doing gives you confidence. For whatever reason it really clicked with Lainton last year (the year is probably he is streets ahead of Dibble) and without him even Pearson is suffering. |

Re: Team for Stockport Game
We have enough reasonable/good players to beat Stockport. I think our inability to win games has as much to do with players not understanding their role as it does the individual selected.
So much depends on BH learning from his mistakes and leading from the front. I expect a good game, pleased to see one of our 'old' rivals at the Racecourse and fully expect us to win by two or tree goals. COYR |
