Default Re: 10 game barometer - expectations?

If he has lost the dressing room has been said and non of us really know if it's true it could just be one or 2 disgruntled players stirring it who knows.

But if he has then he is gone sooner on later as it shows he is weak.

If he ends up having to go then those on the board who recruited him should step down or stick to off field responsibility and get someone on the board with football knowledge, because for me their recruitment manager record is abysmal.

And if they do get rid and go for Keates which would be sickening then a lot of fans will not bother going.

It appears we have 'a little boy lost' as manager coupled with the questionable influence of Carl Darlington, not least the unknown input of Brian Flynn! Expectations are therefore very uncertain! Spencer Harris & cronies may have a lot to answer for!

I don’t really think we look any better than last season. Roberts was a better right back than bobb. Barton isn’t as effective as Walker. Lainton has been a massive miss in goal but dibble was here last year.

We’ve changed tactics to be more attacking and it’s no coincidence that the defence looks shaky. Every year we comprise in one area of the team to improve another and as a result never get it right.
Harris and Hooper have improved us. Others not so sure but I meant happy with the squad before the season started. I felt we recruited OK obviously JBB and McIntosh have not impressed at all so far.

If he fails they have no choice but to put their hands up and apologise for their decision making.

It's all ifs and buts and rumours at the moment so let's wait and see what happens next couple of games. Agree about Keates coming back and that would be me done if it happened as couldn't endure watching that hoof ball rubbish again.

Getting tactics, formation etc right will get us so far. The players on the field need to be good enough to follow CD’s instructions and expose weakness in the opposition. Some of the new signings are simply baffling - very similar to the Gary mills squad that cost him his job.

Surely carrington goes back in at right back tomorrow. The midfield is a big weakness. Summerfield looks like he’s playing at 75% capacity and young flatters to deceive. This would probably go against the opinion on here but if carrington isn’t required to play RB id be tempted to play him in the Brad Walker role. For all his limitations he can pass the ball comfortably, which is something we struggle with.

I think it’s already obvious that Darlington needs to cut his losses and remove bobb and Macintosh from the squad. Not good enough... simple as that.

sorry but I have very low expectations for the next few games , watched the Hartlepool highlight and it really looked as though a number of the players couldnt care less

That would be a first.

Never going to happen.

A not very subtle way of trying to reinforce the notion that CD calls all the shots, and BH does the bibs.

Barnum Bobb has lots of ability, but not at RB. Play him as a winger, where he and Harris would torment most teams.

Where we do agree is the lack of cohesion in midfield; but anyone who cannot recognize our deficiencies there should not be allowed out alone!
