Interesting that Pearson made a point of saying he doesn't buy into possession stats etc.

Hughes is deluded if he really believes the garbage that has come out of his mouth. More more honest assessment from the skipper.

The ref did have a bad game but he could have got everything right and we still probably wouldn't have won. You can't blame the referee for Dibble's howler for the first or the defence failing to clear the ball repeatedly for the second.

Usually the refs are sub-par in this league, but saying "but the ref..." fixes nothing. The league's hardly going to have a referee overhaul.
