Anyway before the thread descends into the Dean Saunders slag off.

The WST have to been seen as defining some rules.
Who is doing what as far as this goes? Brushing January under the carpet was a disgrace and I think shows a lack of pro-activity and strategy by them. There are too few of them and too many things to do.

The WAFC board are performing roles they should not. I expect the HR director to rubber stamp appointments and agree contracts but when I hire then I interview and make the decision not the HR director. I agree the salary in an agreed range. If its an Technical hire or an infrastructure hire then I dont interview or make the decision etc.

Its a shambles. However we can’t just ditch everyone, we have to have evolution not revolution. It’s both WST and WAFC levels that need to change.

Each board will need more people and will need to delegate responsibilities but it’s the only way to grow.

Didn't belong to you before either, or me. We were just fans.

It’s particularly unpleasant though when your own ‘fans’ are actively complicit in killing the club. It would be more acceptable if it was Gutterman or Hamilton. Egos are very powerful and we all have them. Sadly some genuine fans have egos which have led them to own the club and control it, and they have been effectively destroying it.

Their big CB unmarked at the back post and 2-0 down within a flash.

As for our set pieces, the floating corner failed all through the game.

In open play we created far more than Stockport, but shocking defending from two set pieces won them the game.

Fine margins but what are we working on during the week on the training ground?

It cleary isn’t defending and attacking set pieces.

Hughes needs to go along with the people responsible for his 3 1/2 year deal.

Darlington should do the decent thing and step away also, allowing a new manager to come in and build his own back room staff.

Defending was not to blame for the first goal it was caused through a poor goalkeeper who can't command his area, he fumbled a simple catch spilled the ball and eventually pushed it into His own net, not the first time his errors have cost us goals, Notts County, and how many times did he spill the ball on Saturday? The second one was because the rightback was nowhere near to mark the player in lots of space for a simple header.
