No they don’t need to go they do a great job of everything else, especially Spencer, however, they very obviously need help with the football side of the business.

Agree with this but I think they've left it too long. They've soured their relationship with the fans because of pure stubbornness.

If we have an elected board the club will die in my opinion. No elect the trust board which chooses football board. That said do remember that most of the football board are elected to the trust board.

I feel sorry for BH, he must have thought it was all his Xmas days rolled in to one when given the job. I don't blame him for taking it on.
He will be hung out to dry by the football board if results don't improve but I cant see this happening until mid season as it will reflect badly on them.

Lets not forget

The previous season after Keats leaves Davis is appointed and results fall off a cliff.

Last season

Ricketts leaves

The football board appoint Barrow who had stated he did not want the job.
Barrow then quits but they still hold a meet the manager night.
They have already sent a job offer to mike Newall, so its to late to change their mind and have to pay him off.

They then keep the WST board in the dark regarding his replacement, who has no experience at all.

Who then struggles to gain a run of good results and comes under pressure.

If BH continues to fail he will be sacked, if that happens, then changes to the structure and composition of the FB should occur. If no changes occur then I would support a vote of no confidence in the board and I Know I would not be alone.

I want fan ownership to work.

Nice to see you in debate BV
Can you do a potted summary of structure and direction.
PM if necessary and I will add my own and post it up.

Do we know why these two stepped down to start with ? and the departure of Bryn Law ?
Things are not right at our Club , The Board , Harris, They are not Football people , in the sense that Horne was , We need that direction from someone .

You are quite correct cosmic , because the alternative is falling into the hands of some unscrupulous bloke who would finish us off as per Bury.

Incredible that some are still spinning it for Spencer and the rest. Fact of the matter is that they have failed the club and moreover, the fans with their inept management of the football matters. They have listened to Darlo too much and have lorded it about our club for too long destroying the playing side without a care. If they love the club like they claim they do, they will step down. Im also not into the ‘you do it then’ brigade as I am not at all qualified to run a football club, exactly why we should get someone who is, in!
