This is not a scientific review, just something I’ve become aware of this year (& not just in the last few weeks.
Worrying thing is, if crowds fall, & indeed the club falls into further decline then the fan owned model is screwed. Small crowds = small revenue with no way of reversing the spiral!
But season ticket sales are up this year aren't they? Have you also spoken to many who therefore must be buying their first ever season tickets?

STs are about half the budget. Pay on the day is equally important and will be affected by results. Saturdays crowd should have been much higher.

Lets hope we can turn it round before any apathy kicks in.

Whatever but in my view , with this catchment area , if they had a winning team and pushing for promo , you could get 7,000 to 8,000 a game , but what happens when a good crowd comes , yep they lose .

Ditto.

There used to be 4/5 of us that attended regularly, none attend now.

I was speak to another red yesterday morning who asked if I went to the Stockport game. He stated he hadn't been for 3 years and wouldn't return under the current board. Very sad, a fan of 30 years too.

Do those 30 years include the last 3 years when he hasn't bothered watching the team he supports?

Is it snowing up there?
Its personal choice.
'Hasn't bothered' is a poor choice of words in my opinion. But if we want to go down that road... You could argue the club hasn't bothered to make it enjoyable for him to come back. Keates season the football was non existent, dreadful entertainment wise and ultimately ended in failure.
Ricketts season started well up until Christmas when everything fell apart.

This season has started badly and doesn't look like improving, quite the opposite, as the team is getting worse game by game.

Poor response!

Supporting a team is in no way a sentence to handing over your cash at the turnstile each week.

He doesn't feel part of the club anymore, disagrees with the way the club is being run (many do) and doesn't feel the love or entertained anymore. His stance is fully justified and sad to see.

Thanks for the potted recent history and no it's quite sunny here in Buckley.

Fans come and go, but crowds are currently increasing year on year, so the way the club is being run may put him off, but it's probably bringing in 2 new fans for every one it loses.
