That's the way things are steve at any club indeed any sport , there were two interviews after the game BH was looking for statistical reasons for losing , but Pearson probably gave a more honest and accurate account , but that seems to be the way interviews go when things not right as BH is showing .

I don't think this is an overreaction.

Our goalkeeper is shocking and is costing us points

Our once solid defence has been turned into a shambles to the point we need to score 2 every game just to get a point

Our midfield is bossed by the opposition in every game which leaves our strikers isolated and feeding off scraps

To top it off, every striker we've ruined due to our tactics has left here and scored goals

Oh and we're heading for a relegation battle

Are we all really overreacting?

I predicted two consecutive home defeats and RP meltdown on Tuesday night - Maidenhead are in a great run of form and riding high in the league table.

I recall the season Mansfield Town went up as Champions - Kidderminster Harriers hardly picked up a point in their first 10 games, stood by their manager at the time, Steve Burr then went on a fantastic purple patch and pushed Mansfield all the way for the title - similarly Salford had a very poor start last season before recovering well - so it can be done. In fairness I don't think we were that bad against Stockport but we suffer from individual errors and can't perform for 90 minutes - just in spells and whoever the 11 players selected are, are not playing as a cohesive team because of the constant chopping and changing we endure - the back four & keeper were constant last season but it's all up in the air from game to game now.
That's really been down to suspensions and injuries though. JBB seems to have significantly weakened our defensive stability.

Maidenhead have just beaten Sutton 3-0 at their place so a match most would have expected to be a relative formality now looks like we'll be doing well to get a point. I'm only thinking that because we are at home. If this was away I wouldn't give us a prayer of anything other than a beating.

Rarely felt this downbeat so early in the season. Hope BH turns it around but I am far from confident he can do it

The number of games played is 8, that's enough to get a good grasp of where the team is heading however it can be turned around still, I agree there however unlikely that seems.
My point still stands that performances are deteriorating and you haven't really disagreed with that.

By the way, we're currently 16th in the league. Is that what better football means?
Maybe you don't, but a lot of people on here were crying out for more attacking and entertaining football. Maybe this is BH finding the balance still , but as mentioned before BH does not fill me with confidence

The only difference to last season is we have lost our solid defence!

Surely a starter for ten would be to get that sorted again!

It did not just look over the line it was well over, cannot criticise the referee because his useless linesman stood in front of Stockport fans bottled it.

Our 12th season in non league football? Enough said! Our current structure and set up has failed and in any other business environment it would have been changed years ago....along with the management....boot room and boardroom!

Therein is why many are so pissed off. However, we need to tighten up the defending, keep playing attacking football, and somehow improve the midfield. Do that and we will win games. But we need to do that from tomorrow, not wait until the infamous January-Window.

We are close to doing so — a string of injuries haven’t helped — but we certainly ain’t there yet.

This won't be popular !!!!!
Except for the goalkeeper who else is missing from the defence ? The right back that many on here despised but seemed to be one of the best defenders . Was Mr Roberts the glue that set the rest???
As far JBB watched the game v Bromley and he looked a decent footballer with a brain , and certainly wasn't to blame for the goal! The scorer would have stolen a march on most full backs left in the lurch!
