A blast from the past. Hope WAFC1926 and all former players put out the red carpet for him. Would be a nice gesture if the Board offered he and his wife free tickets to the Directors’ Box as a sign of solidarity with this old stalwart.

Sounds a really good read, nice if he comes to a game and is introduced to the crowd.Just hope it is not a Tunnocks wafer cup game.

I am led to believe that Steve will be at the Racecourse for the Sutton Utd game on Saturday 14th September. I don't know any detailed plans but hope the Club give him the warm welcome he deserves. Steve was a superb left-back for us back in the Sixties.

Making enquiries as to what the Club are doing to welcome Steve. All a bit vague at the moment but will keep you informed. I know a lot of older fans would love to meet him.
