A daft question I suppose. Seeing as this is an 'international type' competition why don't they make it more meaningful by giving the winners a place in the Europa league qualifying rounds?

Its a Scottish competition, so I should imagine it'll be like English clubs competing in the Welsh Cup, they didn't qualify for Europe.

Who knows? I thought the original poster meant that they played in a welsh league but the club based in England but I can see how it can be read both ways!

Swansea won the League cup and represented England in the Europa league a few years back.
