Disagree. True supporters have the clubs best interests at heart, they know what's important and have a relentless focus on achieving that. They are no distracted by shiny baubles.

The cup as I understand it takes priority over league fixtures - whether a pre planned TV viewing plays any influence I don't know but somehow doubt it - same rule regarding the FA Trophy - the further we progress the more disruption and re arranged fixtures will be needed to our league programme.

So we stand to lose out on BT Sport national 'live' coverage.

The monies generated from such a viewing.

A decent Saturday crowd with a larger than average away following which will not reach the same heights on a Tuesday night.

It has been previously mentioned of the possibility that we could put two teams out in two competitions on the same day. I recall the day we won 0 - 2 at Brentford in the FA Cup but had to play at the Racecourse the same afternoon v Airbus - a game I attended - but that shouldn't be happening - it just undermines the competitions and forces teams to put out seriously weakened second string teams.
Please tell me this isn't true. This is the most embarrassing competition in the history of man. What a load of dog shiite this is. I'd be ashamed if we won it. Another shit stain on our history as a club.

I sometimes wonder whether for some the prospect of a trip away and all day drinking is actually more important than Wrexham FC.
Tinpot football decisions. Thats all.

Cracking night in Chester but we were told by loads of folk that Wrexham was dire. Then proceeded to have one of the best away days ever! Horse and Jockey plus the Fusiliers place was an absolute riot. Hope you get a decent away day somewhere to make up for messing up your league programme. If its in Scotland I'll be back with recommendations!
The Wrexham fans we met yesterday were excellent, quality banter.

Seems you missed our fantastic food festival which is held in the town centre.

Yes it would appear so but couldn't fit everything in.

Are some forgetting we fielded a reserve side that has seen some younger lads play, who may provide us some options in the future when we need them.

So long as it's used for that alone, it shouldn't effect our league games. It might give the first team a kick up the a*rse knowing their place is at stake

We've been bemoaning the decision to disband the reserve side and then moaned further about lads not being fit when called to be back in the thick of it.

Barton played well from the sounds of it and may give us an option going forward in midfield, an area that's really not working at the minute. It wasn't long ago people were complaing he hadn't played a game yet.

Using this competition to beat the club with is ludicrous.
