I'd be fuming if a professional team actively threw a game. It was a good opportunity for youngsters and fringe players to prove themselves. Personally, I'd have to say the former gave a better account of themselves apart from Barton and maybe Lawlor.

Rather enjoyed today’s game, especially Bickerstaff, who played very well, took his goal well, and deserved MOTM. Can he get on the bench on Saturday? Or would it be too early for him? Worth a shot.

We created loads of chances today, having changed to a 3-5-2 (ish) formation.

Tollitt did 90 minutes and did well. So too did Lawlor, Tharme and Barton.

The young keeper is OK but kicking is weak.

Redmond and Barnum-Bobb failed to impress.

We deserved to win, but we lost our shape towards the end, when some of the youngsters began to tire.

By the sounds of it , it’s time for Grant to get a go in Redmond’s position.

I’ve said all along that’s where he should be playing. Tollitt hooper and Harris up top and grant playing in an advanced role in the middle.

I remember a few years ago we played 2 games at the same time, welsh cup and league game, can’t we do the same for this assuming we’re not drawn at home?

Please explain why you think so. Does it not impact on our league fixture schedule?
