I don't tend to show that area to chaps I don't know I'm afraid. I take it you're an aficionado of the ‘Meet me at McDonald’s’ cut though?

By all means complain to the ref and/or assistants but if it wasn't a hard contact don't give it the theatrics. I get fed up with seeing players go down and roll around screaming, then once a kick and card is given they are up and running around sometimes even without the trainer coming on.

Times have changed but when I was younger playing you took these challenges on the chin (literally sometimes!) and let the ref decide the outcome. Nowadays it seems players are out to get others carded or sent off far too easily.
Good sensible post - if it was a 'slight' foul on the part of the Ayr player Szczpaniak lost all credibility - someone needs to sit him down infront of a video of the good old days where true hardmen played the game - Tommy Smith, Chopper 'Harris , Norman Hunter, Billy Bremner - now get up off the floor and stop impersonating an actor trying to get an opponent carded and while your at it try celebrating the win at the end of the penalty shoot out infront of your own fans not those from Ayr - by the way we are the ones wearing red !

That Leeds team was a disgrace though. I'm no fan of simulation but I'm glad Football has moved on from those days. Where a clogger was allowed to just come through a player, or hack someone down with impunity because 'its a man's game'

That Leeds team had some quality too - perhaps its a balance that's needed - Wrexham often appear the team with the smaller weaker players - especially in midfield - anyway back to Leeds United back in the late 60's early 70's - Sprake / Harvey, Cooper, Reaney, Jack Charlton, Hunter, Lorimer, Giles, Clark, Eddie Gray and Mick Jones who I remember watching at Everton and scoring - they were the team to beat and if I remember rightly went on an unbeaten run of something like 30 odd games - they went to Everton who were then bankrolled by John Moores and their run was expected to end by many - except it did n't and they escaped with a 0 - 0 draw. The very next week when they were expected to continue their run they unexpectantly lost at home to Burnley 1 - 4.

But going back to that time - players used to kick lumps out of each other and it was far more physical than it is today - you had to do something bad to get a card it seemed. I don't remember all this rolling about crap to get an opponent carded only to get up 30 seconds later and run around full tilt as though it had never happened.
