On the basis that nobody has told us how many tickets were taken up my estimation based on information provided on other threads by the Junior Dragon is that less than half the allocation was taken - a full lower tier of the University end stand (850) and a further (50) at most in the Yale Paddock (Mold end) - perhaps 900. Would some of those in these areas normally fill in the numerous empty seats in the other stands ? possibly but perhaps not many.

So unless we are told differently 3,824 minus 48 and 900 people who wouldn't normally attend reduces today's home support to 2,876 - out of that figure will be season ticket holders who didn't turn up.

Of course live TV was another influential factor which is unquantifiable.

However, I have not seen so many empty plastic seats around me today that would normally be occupied - numbers and vacant spaces were staggering.

But regardless, people are voting with their feet and numbers are dropping at an alarming rate.

Post match and many headed to the Centenary Club as is normal practice after the conclusion of home matches - however the masses were greeted by security staff on the door to be informed the club was closed because a private function was taking place there.

And if it's out of bounds after a match why doesn't anyone tell us in advance ?
Is it beyond the realms of possibility to communicate accurately with the fanbase ?
The University Tech End toilet blocks look like they haven't had a clean in a long long time never mind since the Maidenhead game.
It's like people have just given up on the place.
.
Very difficult to find 2,000 children who have been sufficiently badly behaved to be sentenced to 90 minutes of what I witnessed yesterday. I have seen better football played in the park.
We are 12 years at this level because the whole ethos is that we are still a club in survival mode. Hence the lack of investment in the quality required at board, managerial and playing levels that is needed to go from a policy of survival to one of ambition and success.
If that change does not happen soon then the fans of tomorrow will be even more difficult to attract.. even with free admission!

We were poor, and only got the point because we were up against a Sutton side that were also poor - and even then we got lucky Eastmond decided he wanted to play in goal for the last five minutes.

Something does have to change and I don't think it's the team. On paper, it's as good of recruitment as we've done at this level.

Why were we lucky?

The ball was clearly going into the net from the header. Eastmond just gave them the chance that we would not score from the resultant penalty.

I've been a season ticket holder for some 20 years and was at the game last night. To brutally honest I didn't care whether Grant scored or not such was absolute dejection I felt over the pathetic display on the pitch. Hughes must go.

Never witnessed such dire football in all my years at Wrexham FC 60+ years that is not acceptable Hughes has to go asap and the board has to be made accountable to the fans so we need a director to seek finance and a football brain on the board who knows his stuff not a rice crispies director who's every decision goes pop.
