He was number one pupil on a training course I've heard, was hinting at a return on two occasions when things were going pear shaped for Hughes.

If people stay in place, he'll get the job just you watch.

Barrow chose Newell surely?

Barrow was odd and Hughes has been a complete shocker we all saw coming.

But you could argue that they got Keates and Ricketts right, seeing as they were poached by teams higher up the leagues.

And there was widespread acclaim for the appointment of Mills.

I’d say their track record was average, but has left us in a complete mess because the last two have gone so badly.
On what planet could Andy Davies be considered to be the right appointment ? It was stupid. There is absolutely no argument for it, .

That late in the season? Continuity made sense. It turned out terribly but I could see where they were coming from. I’m not getting the pitchforks out for that decision.

Gary Johnson but don’t think he’d come here so Luke Garrard.

Watson is a good shout too but again would he come here? York seem to have got themselves together.

lots of you have been extremely vocal in wanting to get rid of Hughes , Darlo and Flynn ... so im presuming you have names in mind ? if So could you share realistic names with us? im guessing you wont.. happy for you to prove me wrong by giving us some realistic names (Klopp & Fergie are a no-go)

Harrison ?
Keates?
Brabin?

If i had to put a name down... id go for Challinor ,, rumoured to of applied for us in the past? decent manager also. maybe bringing his backroo team with him.. and he doing badly atm With Fylde

and then we get pearson doing his Badges.. as i think one day he would make an excelent manager for somebody (hopefully us)

but before you vocal ones who want Hughes head on a platter try shoot me down for my opinion... put ya proverbial money where your mouth is.. and tell us who you think should be our next manager.
You seem obsessed with the idea that every manager is an equal risk, so why does it matter who we get?

If people stayed in place it doesn't matter who would get the job.

Disagree. He was the cheap choice, the easy choice but not the right choice.
Many said so at the time, the usual nodding dogs his supporters.

Ricketts it seems football wise was starting to improve us but backroom stuff curtailed that as anything long term.

Barrow, well what can I say. Now you see me now you dont.
Where BH even came into the picture is a joke.

Now is the time to make the right appointment. Change the selection process where the board need to make final decision but the applications are also checked/vetted and included by some people not on the board.
