You can say that again, ours certainly has, there is no comparison. I thought he was providing observations of our matchday performances and that decisions after that were up to Hughes.

Re: Just a thought FLYNNE!
Too old to be our manager; plus he is committed elsewhere. Useful for spotting new talent, but has yet to produce the gem needed. Albeit that young lad who played against Cefn druids did look useful, but we somehow let him go. Bad decision, IMHO!

He's had his day in my view - residence was always an issue with him reportedly refusing to move from his Burnley home when he was here. Besides he's here already and allegedly the assistant manager but how he's assisting and for what duration appears to be absolutely minimalistic. I have great respect for him but we need someone alongside Hughes full time - the arrangement seemed the norm with every other manager but when we appoint the least experienced manager we don't supply him with a right hand man - at the most someone who contributes hardly any time and on match days 'at distance' if at all. The trialist mentioned who played in pre season v Cefn Druids was Noah Edwards who is with Caernarfon Town and plays in their midfield alongside Leo Smith. Would he have given us anything more or different to what we had and displaced our current midfielders ? Indeed would he even want to come here - many part time players have jobs outside football and wouldn't want to give up even if they were offered a chance. |
