So basically we shouldn’t look to the club to provide reliable information?

Here are the places you can find the Chesterfield match is not happening.

BBC site
Chesterfield FC official site
SPL official site under Tunnocks Challenge Cup where our tie with St Mirren for the 12th October is confirmed.

They couldn't be bothered to tell the fanbase the Centenary Club would be closed last night post match either.

In fact, come to think of it, in a nutshell they don't appear to care.[/QUOTE

Maybe they are hoping to play the two games back to back with mainly youth players in the Wafer against St Mirren’s kids.

This would work assuming we have enough players.

2pm kick off and then a 5:20pm kick off would work.

The cup tie is already confirmed on the SPL site with a 3.00 pm KO

Chesterfield site shows the league fixture postponed as does the BBC site.

Why repeatedly are our club the last to inform their customers, the fanbase about information they have been in possession of since 'last week' ?
Do you come to the conclusion that the place is being run at an amateurish level ? I have drawn my own conclusions long ago.

I thought there may have been a hope of retaining the league game in it's original Saturday televised slot and with agreement of St Mirren possibly playing the cup tie on the Sunday but the logistics of not only the playing side but policing, security and stewarding were probably a step too far.

For up to date match fixtures and news updates Wrexham supporters should be able to turn to their own club website with confidence as first option - and not have to be reliant on all other media sources to find out information. Some people will be directly affected and may wish to change their working hours to see the matches, perhaps sort hotel or travel arrangements, take a day off whatever - but unless the club promptly furnish us all with the foundation stones in the form of dates and kick off times the system falls down at the first hurdle.

This would work assuming we have enough players.

2pm kick off and then a 5:20pm kick off would work.

Wrexham AFC can confirm the Vanarama National League fixture at home to Chesterfield has been pushed back to Tuesday October 15.

This is due to a clash between the original scheduled date and the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup fourth round tie against St Mirren Under-21s.

Competition rules dictate that the league fixture must be moved to accommodate our SPFL Cup commitments, and we will now welcome the Spireites to the Racecourse on the Tuesday night.

The re-scheduled match will kick-off at 7.45pm and will no longer be broadcast by BT Sport.
