Wrexham Inclusion FC

Getting some recognition for helping to turn peoples lives around via BBC 3, well done everyone who gives up their time for a worthy cause.

Such a shame it no longer has official links to our club.

Great find ggg & what a brave kid to come out & speak openly about his problems. Wish him & his teammates all the best in their individual battles.
Was it the club who severed any links with inclusion. Didn’t they want to use the Wrexham badge.

The club are looking for volunteers to help out if anyone’s interested. Great chance to make a positive difference in the life of someone who may be struggling.

They wanted everyone to come in line with the club, the agreement they wanted didn’t suit the inclusion team with their needs

Surely any agreement should be on the inclusion teams' terms, within reason.

Sadly it seems it was the best decision the club ever made leaving. The offer on the table would have seriously affected them and the project would have been scaled down dramatically under WAFC as it's all currently done 100% voluntarily. This includes removing tournaments and travel with them losing all decision making rights.

The deal on offer was the badge (which we adapted at the time) had to be changed and thus then use the WAFC badge and wrexham kit with Ifor Willim's sponsorship which they would have to fund with no opportunity to gain sponsorship to fund. The offer was to come under the RCF( who do a great job but are a separate entity) but this wasnt the greatest deal

Sadly the club also promised them they would look at other clubs that where similar to themselves who used the badge or adapted the badge and still to this day use it and are not officially linked to club!

The fans team agreed to it but literally nothing has come of it, that’s why we still use the badge

We’ll probably end up going the way that the inclusion team have gone

It was the best decision we ever made leaving unfortunately as not being connected to WAFC somehow makes sponsorship alot easier.

We never felt part of WAFC and always felt we where a problem they didnt need and if you didn't contribute to the 1st team you where irelvent.

Our time connected to WAFC was just full of problems and the lack of leadership was always an issue.

To be fair some of the board where brilliant to us and could see the bigger picture in what having a Inclusion Team could bring but sadly the focus was just promotion (stop laughing).

Not trying to be awkward 9r non supportive but if it's the best thing you did having nothing to do with WAFC why start a thread on RP ?
