Re: Same question - are the board brave enough?
It's the fans who own the club, not the inept board. If they don't listen to what the fans are saying, then it's time for them to go as well.Amateur management managing a professional football club. What a joke .

Re: Same question - are the board brave enough?
The issue isn't just about sacking BH, it's about sacking CD and the board who decided that the manager has to work with their staff. I've never heard of a football club not allowing the manager to bring in his own backroom staff. If we sack BH, CD will still be there and the same thing happens. If we lose Tuesday, something needs to be done. If not it will turn ugly on Saturday. I imagine lots of fans will boycott.

He’ll get to stay for the Fylde game, a team we have never scored against, even if we lose I think he will be here for the Ebbsfleet game. If we can’t beat the bottom team at home, then that should be it. After all he has been given the kiss of death by the board ie the vote of confidence

Will sacking him be enough? No.
After backing their man in the face of overwhelming opinion, how can the Board recover the ridiculous situation they have got themselves into? They can’t. They too are dead men walking... we are potentially on the brink without doubt.... and another puppet manager ain’t going to cut it. |

Re: Same question - are the board brave enough?
BH, CD and BF should be sacked, but what then?
We have a Board with a poor track record of appointing a proven manager to improve the football. Do we put Pearson and Carrington in charge until the Board appoint a DoF, who can then hopefully -- there are no guarantees of success -- appoint our new leader?. It's a mess; but prevarication won't improve things. The Board should make the necessary changes, in the right order, and then 3 of the Board should stand down. We need some continuity, so Mark Williams and Phil Salmon should stay in post. It's then up to the WST Chairman to appoint 3 new members to fill the gaps. Essentially, the Board and management have lost all credibility, and the club must come first.
