What most of us are worried about is what the board will do next. They have been incredibly inept in their choices lately. I do think Keates will be appointed and given another long contract and we will hear the usual "finish the job I came here to do etc". We will probably then survive as he will at least motivate the players. I want more than just surviving though. I think this club needs to be more optimistic and seek an appointment that excites the fans. We can still get into the playoffs but need to act soon. |

Re: Bryan Hughes Statistics Part 2
Training this morning and those who played on Saturday were leaving at 1125. They usually start at 11, but surely it’s stretching credulity to think that they only did 25 minutes. The earliest they would probably have started would 1030, in which case it was still short of an hour. Bearing in mind that they seem to be changing formation again, that they show no signs of acting as a unit, and that set pieces need a lot more practise , how does this square with the spin that “everything possible is being done “ ? Of course I could be wrong and they may have started at 10 but that’s unlikely.
The good news is that Lainton was training, but the bad news is that he spent 15 minutes in a heated argument with Michael Oakes. I didn’t get the impression that he had an issue with Oakes, rather he kept pointing angrily to where the non- playing (Saturday) players were involved in a drill with Hughes and Guardiola. |

Re: Bryan Hughes Statistics Part 2
I presume we don't have a fitness coach. Seems strange we are losing to late goals in so many matches. For a "professional" outfit that is extremely disappointing and has been happening for a while now. Perhaps the club should step up training by investing in a table tennis table or something.
