Could say what difference will one more loss make. Not much in the grand scheme of things. My point was, the board are clutching to the slightest glimmer of hope to get a turning point and what better chance than playing bottom at home (just to reiterate this is what I think the board are thinking not me personally)

We all know the board will be absolutely terrified of Saturday’s atmosphere, you just know he’ll be gone by Thursday.

A very good question considering other managers have been given the boot for less.

I dont know what they are waiting for, because we know its not going to improve. It is there for all to see, and we all know once we get someone in who is organised they will get a better tune out of these players.

They've backed him in a public statement, and they know full well they won't have to face the majority of the fans until Saturday.

If we lose tonight I'll be very surprised if Hughes is still in place come Saturday.
