I meant management team doh!

No, the heart of our issues are the people that gave BH the job, the ones who gave Barrow a job. The ones who alienated the majority of fans and are so far out of touch its frightening.

But I wouldn't expect you to admit this.

I really can't see how anyone is being optimistic about this game. I expect Fylde to win and convincingly.

I hope to be proven wrong however.

As I am not actively involved I am not sure I need to 'admit' or deny anything as it is all about opinions.

IMO our current on field issues are as I state - and as I have stated on other responses I do find the board culpable which makes you wrong but I wouldn't expect you to admit this.
The fact that remains is that we have an urgent on field issue now which (again IMO) needs addressing and that for me is the dismissal of BH and his team and hopefully the introduction of someone who can get the best from the playing staff. Then we need to address the personnel and maybe the structure of our club. Again though - just for the record I prefer fans ownership.

Never read on post from you criticising the board for their cock-ups, but maybe you have and I've missed them.

I used to prefer fan ownership but all its brought us so far is years of failure. I don't prefer that and don't see how anyone could.
It doesn't work.

The years of failure isn't opinion, its fact. The evidence is all there, its here right now whilst we're languishing in the relegation zone as a direct result of the club board making huge errors in recruitment, yet again.
People saying change the manager are badly missing the point.

I actually feel sorry for Hughes. He has effectively been hung out to dry by the Board. Ok, he might not be a decent manager but he has had no support whatsoever, from what I can see. He needs full time staff behind him and then maybe we would have seen if he could have made a go of it.
It all sounds like he is being overridden in training and formation issues by Darlington from what other posters have said, and although Flynn probably means well, only being here from time to time is not good for a rookie manager.

Hughes will take the fall understandably, but without a full clear out of the support staff (Darlington & Flynn) and a total overhaul of the board (not necessarily ousting members by the way, use each members strengths in that area, get people in for the footballing side) and the way we do things the same cycle will continue to happen.

This club is going one way at the moment, down. The longer it continues the less chance we have of turning it around.

I feel sorry for BH. Thrown in at the deep end. His interview after the game, well he looked and sounded really down and lost.

Still waiting to hear the details of how exactly 'everything is being done behind the scenes' to help him?
